Integrity Spinal Care is excited to welcome Dr Han to our clinic starting 2 days ago! Dr Han has been a practicing Chiropractor since 1997, and has become more interested in utilizing Acupuncture over the last few years. He has a wealth of knowledge with various forms of medicine, and we are very excited he has decided to be a part of our Integrity Spinal Care.
Below is a letter from Dr Han introducing himself to our current and prospective patients. It will give you a good introduction to Dr Han and the practice of Acupuncture that he has become passionate about!
"My educational background includes a Master's Degree in Microbiology, which I obtained in South Korea. I also obtained a degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic soon
afterwards in Davenport, Iowa in 1997. I moved back to South Korea after receiving my Doctor of Chiropractic in Iowa and associated myself with a rehabilitation doctor for 3 years. Following that I learned from an oriental medicine doctor for another 4 years through whom I gained an interest in acupuncture.
Acupuncture is an ancient Korean medicine-based approach to treating a variety of conditions by triggering specific points on the skin with needles. Each acupuncture needle produces a tiny injury at the insertion site and although it's a slight discomfort, oftentimes it's enough of a signal to let the body know that a response is required. Eventually, I decided to pursue acupuncture more activity as I had seen the results that could be produced through the usage of both acupuncture and standard Chiropractic practices.
Neck pain, chronic pain, lower back pain, nerve pain, headaches, foot pain and knee, elbow and wrist sprains and strains are all issues that can be relieved through the proper practice of acupuncture.
Through my collective experience of over 20 years of practice, I have witnessed a countless number of positive results for people who are suffering due to pain. i truly believe that we, as Chiropractors, can help people who are suffering, both chronic and acute conditions, with upper cervical adjustments (NUCCA) and through the use of Acupuncture at Integrity Spinal Care.
